Canterbury Tales. Geoffrey Chaucer, illustrated by Edward Corbould. Routledge & Sons, London, no date, but 1860 per internal evidence. Delux binding, gilt on white leather spine, cover blind-stamped clasical vase w/spray and filigree in gilt and 3 colors on white, edges framed in brass as from the publisher. Pages gilt all around, fresh and bright. Aparently part of the 'Rouledge's British Poets' series; I can find no listing for this book anywhere, especially with the white background and brass framed boards. Not for sale.
